Introduction
Here’s the thing: we built this infrared towel rail heater for one reason—to make your bathroom instantly warm, right where you need it. Not the whole room. Just the towel. The air around you stays comfortable. And it has to be safe. Especially around little ones who can’t always look away. So the warmth is strong, but the light it gives off is gentle on the eyes.
Technical Deep-Dive
It all comes down to two things: power and wavelength. We cranked up the radiant energy so your towel gets toasty fast. But we kept the spectrum focused in the infrared, so you don’t get blinded by glare. That’s the secret to the quick warm-up and even heating. But here’s the catch—the lamp itself runs hot. So giving it enough space to breathe isn’t a suggestion. It’s a must.
Material & Design
We chose a quartz envelope because it can handle the shock of turning on and off over and over again. It just keeps performing, hour after hour. Inside, the filament is tuned for shortwave infrared. That means the heat is intense, directional, and gets absorbed right where you want it—into the towel, onto your skin. The R7s connector? It’s there for one reason: to make installation easy and secure. No wiggle, no fuss. And we run the whole thing at a higher voltage. That means we can use thinner wires and keep the whole design compact.
Application & Benefits
Pop it into a towel rail, and you’ve got a system that dries and warms fabric in no time. For commercial spaces, that means faster turnover. For homes, it means fewer damp towels and less mildew. The “eye-safe” design is built in. We filtered out the harsh visible light, so you can install it right where people look. No need to squint or shield your eyes. But remember—high heat density is what makes it work. So the fixture and whatever’s nearby have to be able to handle the temperature. Plan for heat dissipation. If you don’t, things will run hotter than you expect.
