Keeping Your Patio Warm Without the Headache
If you run a nightclub patio, you know the drill. Between the humidity, the spilled drinks, and that salty sea air, your gear takes a beating. Most heaters just can’t handle it. We did things differently with our waterproof infrared heaters. Instead of building one big, sealed block, we went with a modular setup. Why? Because it sucks when one tiny burnt-out element means you have to throw away the entire unit. The problem with “standard” heaters Most of the heaters you see out there are welded shut. They’re basically a closed box. So, five years in, a tube pops? You’re scrapping the whole chassis. It’s a waste of money and a pain to install. Our system uses drop-in replacements. The heating modules aren’t fused to the waterproof housing. If a tube goes, you just slide the dead one out and snap a new one in. You don’t have to tear down the mounting brackets or worry about ruining the waterproof seals. It’s a simple swap. Dealing with the wear and tear To actually keep people warm in an open-air draft, you need serious wattage. But high heat eventually wears down the filaments. That’s just physics. To make it easier on you, we used standardized connectors. No on-site soldering. No confusing rewiring projects. You just unplug the old module and plug in the new one. Done. The honest trade-off Look, nothing is perfect. Having more connection points means you have to be a bit more diligent. During your yearly check-up, just make sure the terminals are tight so you don’t get any voltage drops. Is that a chore? A little. But it’s a tiny price to pay for a10-minute tube swapinstead of a full-day installation nightmare. Real-world results In the nightclub world, if the patio is freezing, you’re losing money. Period. With a modular setup, your maintenance crew doesn’t need to be master electricians to keep the place cozy. They can keep a few spare tubes in the stockroom and swap them out during the quiet hours. It turns a “everything is broken” crisis into just another part of the weekly routine.
